Nicaraguans enjoy free community-based health care, based on prevention

Speakers discussed the policies and measures being taken by the FSLN government to combat COVID-19 in the specific socio-economic context of Nicaragua, the role of the social economy and the continued demonisation of Nicaragua by corporate media. The webinar also focused on the impact of the economic warfare being waged by the United States and the importance of defending Nicaraguan sovereignty. Speakers were Dr Florence Levy, John Perry and Nicky Hoskyns. The webinar was chaired by Louise Richards, NSCAG.
