NSCAG Sends Open Letter on Nicaragua to the IACHR

NSCAG and the Alliance for Global Justice (US) have sent an Open Letter to the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, signed by our two organisations and a number of prominent international and Nicaraguan activists and experts. Signers include Blanca Segovia Sandino Arauz, daughter of General Augusto C. Sandino, Camilo Mejia, Human Rights Activist and former Amnesty International prisoner of conscience, Patricia Villegas, President of TeleSur, Venezuela and S. Brian Willson, war veteran, author and lawyer. Also signatories to the letter are Nicaragua’s main trade unions and the country’s biggest rural workers organisation, the Rural Workers Assocation, as well as numerous individuals and non-governmental bodies from Nicaragua, the USA and Europe.
