Tribute to Tony Benn, a great internatonalist

We would like to add our voice to the hundreds of thousands of people paying tribute to Tony Benn, a great socialist internationalist. In 1986, at the height of attempts by the Reagan administration to destroy the Sandinista Revolution resulting in the deaths of 30,000 people, Tony wrote: ‘The struggle of the people of Nicaragua for peace, jobs and freedom is our struggle too. Working people everywhere in every country should stick together. If we do that we can change the world.’
