We are sad to announce the tragic and untimely death of Roger Bevan following a fatal road accident on 14 July. An area organiser for UNISON Cymru/Wales, Roger was a passionate political activist with a particular interest in international solidarity. His work focussed in particular on Cuba and Latin America more generally, and he was always a great friend to Nicaragua and to the Nicaragua Solidarity Campaign. He will be very much missed and we send our condolences to his friends, family and colleagues.
